Project Manager, Terrorism and Conflict
Chris is a Project Manager for the Terrorism & Conflict, and Cyber Security research programmes at the Royal United Services Institute. He previously worked as Project Officer for the National Security Studies programme under Dr Andrew Glazzard. Chris works on a diverse portfolio of work that includes global Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE) trainings and the implementation of P/CVE programming in fragile and conflict-affected states including Afghanistan.
Prior to joining RUSI, Chris worked as a Project Assistant & Researcher on several special projects organised in conjunction with the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies, with topics including Russian geopolitics in the post-Cold War era, extremism and radicalisation, the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and the European migration crisis. Chris holds a BA (Honours) degree in Politics & International Studies from the University of Exeter, UK, and University College Utrecht, Netherlands. His interests include extremism and radicalisation, conflict resolution, media development, and Central Asian/MENA politics.
