Ganna Tsarenko

Ganna Tsarenko is the Project Officer for the SMURF (Supervising and Monitoring Ukraine's Reconstruction Funds) project at RUSI Europe. Ganna has extensive experience in managing reform support projects in economic development, public financial management, and climate change with the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) in Ukraine. She has been collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders including the European Commission, EBRD, the World Bank, Ukrainian civil society, public authorities, and UN agencies. With the start of the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine in February 2022, she has been working on the nexus approach in international aid (humanitarian-development-security aspects) to address immediate recovery needs and support Ukraine's reconstruction effort.

Ganna holds a Specialist's Degree in Economic Theory from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Ukraine, and Master in Advanced European Studies from Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples, Italy.
